Glitter Nail Spam with Emily de Molly and Formula X

Hello nail polish friends, I am back again!  So I totally failed at posting this month and for New Year's...I just get so distracted with life...and a bit sad to say that I started to feel bored of blogging so I just didn't get into it for a few weeks after my vacation.  Plus I did one of the most horrible things you could do to your nails ever: I picked off every last bit of glitter that was on my nails while I was in New Orleans. So with nubs and nails breaking all over the place and boredom (I get bored so easily!) I had another blogging break.  But I think in order to make it fun again I need to not force myself to blog on a schedule. So from now on I will post whenever I feel like. It's my blog, I can whatever I want with it, right? RIGHT! On to some glitter nails that I have been wearing for the past 3 weeks.

Below is one of 3 (!) beautiful Emily de Molly glitter polishes I received as a gift from one of my wonderful besties Dil.  This one is called Abstract Canvas and it is a rainbow glitter with medium black hexes and large black circle glitters.  My very first polishes with Emily de Molly and circle glitter and I am in love!!! Spanks Dil, PLUR!

This was when I first chopped off my nails so they are extra short here.  I used the sponge method to get as much glitter concentrationas I could, then stamped a flower pattern on top.  I got the idea from Canadian Nail Fanatic and I quite like how it looks, I must remember to do it more often!

Next are my New Year's nails with my 2nd Emily de Molly polish gift, Hardware, over black.  GAH I love this polish so so SO MUCH! The name is so fitting, just look at all of that gold and bronze amazingness and it has large holo circle glitter, gorgeous!  Excuse the photo quality, this is a cell phone pic.

Lastly are the nails I am wearing right now: Sephora Formula X in Mischevious, part of The Ombré Glitters. I got a TON of Sephora gift cards for my birthday and Christmas so naturally I had to pick up at least one polish (cough cough in addition to the ~30 mini polishes I picked up during the after Christmas sale online cough cough).

Mischevious has a rose to gold duochrome metallic base with a bright green flash and chock full of glitter.  I could have easily gotten away with only one coat but I did two for more impact.  I bet this would look stunning over black! See below for the shifty:

Look at my weird oval nails, especially the above pic, WEIRD!  They kept breaking at the corners so I rounded them in order to keep the length, hopefully soon I will have enough length for an almond shape.

Glad to be back on a post-as-I-wish schedule :) TTYL!
