Zoya Kiki Stamped with Pueen Leisure Stamping Buffet Set

I just bought what is now my most favorite stamping plate set: the PUEEN Set 24B-L: Leisure Stamping Buffet Set. If you don't know what a "stamping buffet" is, it is Pueen's term to use for fully etched plates (as opposed to several separated images on one plate), and the image has many variations (as opposed to a repeating pattern) so you can create many designs with each plate.  Not only that, most plate designs are too small for my nails at this length, and this completely solves that problem.

I stamped over 2 coats of Zoya Kiki with plate 77, filled with thin swirly and squiggly solid and dotted lines, along with hearts and flowers.  I used Konad Stamping Polish in White and my Winstonia XL squishy stamper which worked pretty well, but I bet the Creative Shop stamper I ordered about a month ago (which I'm still waiting on) will be even better, I can't wait!

Stay tuned for more stamping from my new favorite set!

Sephora by OPI Indi-go with the Flow over Essie Armed and Ready

Sephora by OPI Indi-go with the Flow over Essie Armed and Ready

Today's layered nails are made with Sephora by OPI Indi-go with the Flow, a (you guessed it) indigo colored glitter, over Essie Armed and Ready, a khaki army green with a slight gold shimmer that is actually more like a creme on the nail.

Pardon the tip wear and nail growth, I have been so busy lately with my web development training that I am slacking on taking pictures!

Until next time...

Zoya Charity with L'Oréal Sequin Explosion Gradient Glitter

Zoya Charity with L'Oréal Sequin Explosion Gradient Glitter

Today's nails are a glitter gradient using Zoya Charity, a dusty mauve with golden shimmer, and an interesting polish that I picked up when I was in Rome last year (and because I am a bad blogger I never shared any of my nails or polish finds from that trip) called Sequin Explosion (number 842) by L'Oréal from their Color Riche line.

I love slapping glitter on to make super quick and simple nail art with a little glitz and pizzazz. BTW...I'm totally lol-ing at the words glitz and pizzazz right now, when was the last time I've (or anyone for that matter) ever used those words? They're kinda fun to say actually. Glitz. Pizzazz.

GLITZZZZ.  *throws up jazz hands*

PIZZAZZZZZ.  *wiggles spirit fingers*

Sequin Explosion is in this cute little 5mL bottle that I've never seen here in the U.S., it must be particular to Europe.

Zoya Aurora Swatches

Zoya Aurora Purple Holographic Glitter Swatches

Can I just say that this was the most impossible polish to capture??? Purples like to morph to blueish tones and holo rainbows are just so camera shy. After wearing Zoya Aurora it is now one of my favorite FAVORITE polishes! It is described on their website as a full coverage, medium sugarplum purple flecked with a high concentration of micro fine diamond holographic glitter. Yes, yes, and more yes.

I again did my best in photoshop to remove the blue undertones that my camera deposited on the image.  I think these came out pretty color accurate. But there is much more glowing scattered holo rainbows that it appears, trust me, this one is stunning!

If you squint your eyes and look veeeery closely at the outdoor picture below (and sorta in the first pic), you might just see the lovely magenta and gold bend of the holo. And if not, just imagine it :)

Yay for sun and yay for holos! You'll just have to buy the polish to experience it's fabulousness. Anyone else have problems capturing purples and why that is? Enlighten me...

Revlon Essence and Urban Outfitters Sea Dust with Real Pressed Flowers

It is already spring here (practically summer actually!) in sunny California, and I have a lovely pressed flower manicure to share with you that reflects the weather and unfortunately my crazy allergies (literally sneezing as I type this...)

Revlon Essence and Urban Outfitters Sea Dust with Real Pressed Flowers

Two coats of Revlon Essence (a dusty blueish teal creme) were laid down first, then a single vertical freehand stripe of Urban Outfitters Sea Dust (a light green shimmer with small blue glitters, which I have heard is very similar to Deborah Lippmann Mermaid's Dream for a quarter of the price!) on each nail. Then I added these super cute real (!) pressed flowers from the Cina Midsummer Dream Nail Art Decal Kit that I picked up at Sally's Beauty Supply, first sticking them down with a dot of top coat and then two thick layers of top coat on top to completely seal them in.

I am loving the weather here lately, what is your weather like?
